Looking back, it was a memorable weekend and one to be proud of as a Newcastle United fan. Losing the all important final was tough to take, but this is just the start of an exciting new era at NUFC.

Our CEO was filmed giving a rousing speech in front of hundreds of Newcastle fans at the Green Man pub, praising supporters for ‘taking over’ London and following the club ‘through thick and thin’ before belting out a series of Toon chants with a mic in one hand and a pint in the other! Ghodoussi and Reuben’s secret trip to Trafalgar
Next up we have Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Jamie Reuben revealing their undercover trip to Trafalgar Square.
As almost 10,000 Mags flocked to central London, it emerged that our co-owners turned up in disguise to take in the brilliant scenes on Saturday night, with Ghodoussi posting this on his Instagram story:

The voice of St James’ Park on the big screen at Wembley
In the build up to kick-off inside Wembley, Newcastle United’s match announcer Rob Byron appeared on the giant screen.
We are used to hearing his voice at St James’ Park – he’s been reading out the team sheets and announcing “ENJOY THE GAME” for over 25 years – but Rob had a moment to remember in the build up to kick-off, starting a ‘TOON TOON’ chant before Local Hero blasted out at Wembley:

There was no fairytale end on Sunday, but there were tears of joy from one emotional Newcastle fan, who spoke with sheer passion and pride live on Sky Sports ahead of the game.
