Watch Eddie Howe’s goal celebration and behind-the-scenes reaction at SJP – Brilliant footage!

Some must-watch footage has emerged from last night’s memorable win at St James’ Park, where a first half blitz and two late goals sent us another step closer to a top-four finish.

First we have footage from the press box from Sky Sports’ Keith Downie, who captures Eddie Howe’s animated reaction to Bruno Guimaraes’ stoppage time goal – a moment that sent all four corners of St James’ Park wild. Howe gives little away, but he definitely enjoyed this one!

The club’s media team have also released clips of the team hugging and high-fiving, Jason ‘Mad Dog’ Tindall giving it large and Bruno’s trademark ‘VAMOS’ as they pass staff (and an injured Jacob Murphy) before heading into the dressing room after the win. It’s great to see what a tight bunch of lads they are, showing what a positive atmosphere and sense of unity that exists both on and off the pitch!

The match cam footage – watch it in full below – also features Amanda Staveley, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, Jamie Reuben and Darren Eales clapping our Women’s team onto the pitch following their promotion glory, with the video also capturing Bruno’s magical celebrations at the Gallowgate.

Watch all of the videos below, starting with Howe’s reaction to our fourth goal:

  1. Some managers like DeZerbi and Pep and Howe have real class and acknowledge achievements of other clubs even though they might very occasionally be disappointed with their own teams performance.
Other managers like Klopp, Ten Haag and Arteta sulk and make spurious claims about time wasting and Saudi money despite having spent a lot more themselves.
When their teams have to resort to chopping our players down to stop the flow of intensive football and stop the ball being in play no wonder the ball is in play for less time.
