Newcastle have released footage of new signing Lewis Hall as he arrived at the training ground to meet staff and players before visiting St James’ Park with his family.
Hall, who comes from a family of Newcastle supporters, signed on a loan deal from Chelsea with an obligation to buy, becoming the latest exciting young talent added to our ranks.
In the video, we see the left-back meet up with Steve Nickson, Dan Ashwroth and Eddie Howe, with Andy Howe – Eddie’s nephew and a part of our recruitment team – giving the 18-year-old a tour of our training ground.
As ever, Kieran Trippier’s leadership qualities can be seen in the clip, as he’s the first player to come and meet the teenager before he bumps into the likes of Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes. Watch the full video below:
It’s another impressive move in the transfer window and it will be really good to see how the 18-year-old settles in the squad and how big of a role he will be given by Howe in such a hectic but exciting season.
