Simon Jordan hits nail on the head – Shuts down “ridiculous” Eddie Howe debate on TalkSPORT

Simon Jordan believes any debate around the security of Eddie Howe’s job is frankly ‘ridiculous’, feeling it’s a conversation that needs to be dropped given the incredible run of results he’s delivered over the past 18 months.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan insisted that he’s nothing but ‘rubbish journalism’ for anyone in the media to be asking questions about Howe’s future right now. He’s right – it shouldn’t even be a conversation.

It’s been a poor start with three defeats in the first four games, but no Premier League side were handed a tougher set of opening fixtures, not to mention the fact we battered Aston Villa 5-1 on the opening day.

Jordan feels it’s nothing more than a ‘slight bump in the road’ and a media-driven angle that must stop, with this coming after chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan signalled his ‘unequivocal support’ of Howe earlier this week.
