Watch Saint-Maximin score stunning first goal for Al Ahli before reacting to Newcastle win

After two assists in his opening five games, Allan Saint-Maximin is off the mark for Al Ahli – and what a goal it was!

The Frenchman smashed a 25-yard thunderbolt into the top right corner, with his 67th minute strike sealing a 3-2 win for the Saudi Pro League club.

After the game, the former Toon winger then reacted with a ‘LET’S GO!’ comment following our 1-0 win over Brentford, responding to the club’s official Twitter post to show he’s still supporting Eddie Howe’s Mags from the Middle East.

Watch the stunning strike below, followed by his response to Newcastle’s full-time post:

It’s been a weekend of goals for Newcastle’s loan stars – Yankuba Minteh and Garang Kuol both scored on Saturday – while former Mags Joselu (Real Madrid) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (Al Hilal) also found the net.

Elsewhere, ex-Mag Jonjo Shelvey made an immediate impression following his loan move from Nottingham Forest to Çaykur Rizespor, delivering a 92nd minute assist on his debut.
