After last night’s stunning 4-1 win over PSG, Eddie Howe spoke to CBS stars Kate Abdo, Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Peter Schmeichel.
The pitch-side interview (watch it in full below) started with a well-deserved round of applause for the boss, who revealed his delight at the players commitment, hailed our pressing and ability to pounce on PSG mistakes and execute our game plan.
He felt we didn’t do ourselves justice in our 0-0 draw at AC Milan two weeks ago and “wanted to be ourselves” against PSG, believing responded to the crowd and played a style of football that allowed us to “feed off their energy.”
Howe also hailed man of the moment Sean Longstaff, but was interrupted by the arrival of Kieran Trippier and his son; who was wearing Kylian Mbappe’s shirt after his ad kept him quiet all night! Watch the brilliant clip below:
