Isak scores again for Sweden – Watch goal and killer pass to cap off superb week

It’s been another productive night of action for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, who ended his international break on a high on Sunday evening.

After two goals in Thursday’s 3-1 win over Azerbaijan, where he also won a penalty that was gifted to Viktor Gyökeres, Isak made it three goals in two games for his country last night.

In a 3-0 win over Estonia that made it back-to-back Nations League wins for Sweden, the 24-year-old’s first-half strike was also followed by a superb pass that helped create Gyökeres second goal as Isak showed his creativity to find Kulusevski.

Watch both moments below, starting with his 40th-minute goal:

Isak had failed to score in our opening games against Southampton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup, but that’s now four goals in his last three outings following his second half winner against Spurs just over a week ago.

Great to see him back amongst the goals over the international break and showing his class from a creative perspective, too, not to mention the fact he’s come through both matches unscathed ahead of Sunday’s trip to Wolves.
