Enrique set for Liverpool medical ahead of £6 million move.

Jose Enrique is set to have a medical at Liverpool later on today ahead if you believe what David Craig's "sources" say on Sky Sports News.

To be honest I take the piss out of Craig but there is more than likely something in it.

I mean it's hardly been a big secret that Jose was looking for a way out of Newcastle, and Liverpool have been rumoured to be interested in him right from the start.

Being realistic, with only a year left on his contract there was always a strong chance of him leaving so I've been prepared for it for a long time now anyway, as have a lot of us. It's not the bolt from the blue that the sale of Andy Carroll was.

This is just an update by the way. I was just watching Sky Sports News and Goofy David happened to be on sharing the news so I thought I'd share it with you. There will of course be more reaction and news as and when, or indeed if, anything develops further.
