A quick site update.

Up, up and away.
I just thought I would write this brief update on how the site is progressing. You guys make it tick, so I guess it’s only fair you get to know, right? That’s if you’re interested of course…

As most of you are aware, this site has only been going for just over a week, but we have come quite a long way in a short space of time.

The layout is getting there, although some parts still need tweaking. The articles are starting to flow. And I’m getting a bit more of a handle on this whole running a ‘blog thing. It has surprised me just how much can be done to be honest, and I don’t claim to be pefect so it could take some time, but if you stick with us and give us your feedback and report any little quirks when you encounter them we will get there in the end.

Anyway, time for a quick update. In it’s first week, the site managed 27,580 page views, which is more than I ever imagined to be honest. We are listed on all major search engines now and I am in the process of plugging the place a bit more.

I’ve also submitted an application to Newsnow for us to be featured on their network. It’s probably too early, and they might say no, but it will take some time to hear back from them anyway. If we can get on there though, it will be a big step in making this place accessible to a wider audience.

This is the 32nd article, from three different authors, plus there are two more authors waiting in the wings to get their creative brains in action. Those two shall remain nameless for now and you will have to wait and see to find out who they are.

All in all I’m pretty chuffed with how things have gone so far. As I’ve said, I am new to this so I’m learning as I go, and hopefully I have done ok so far. What I will say is that if you have any suggestions, ideas or feedback then don’t be afraid to let us know either in the shape of a comment in an article somewhere, or through the contact page at the head of the ‘blog. Don’t be shy, let us know.

Moving onto the future, obviously I want this place to be a busy and diverse platform for NUFC fans to get together and laugh, or cry. There is a lot of stuff that I have in the pipeline that will be revealed at a later date, but it’s all very exciting and will hopefully go towards building this place up.

Once again though, it wouldn’t be possible without you guys and gals, and for that I thank you all!

Thank-you.

  2. Yes, of course it did. But in the end I just thought why worry when I haven’t tried it? It might still end up that way and this place might end up dead as a dodo, but I won’t know until I have tried, and at the end I will have learned something from it all about stuff that I never really knew about before 🙂

    Anyway, is this a Q & A session or what? 😆

  12. According to reports from L’equipe(which is a pretty reliable french site and those who were among the first to report about our interest in ben arfa),we are in talks with Caen for El Arabi, a moroccan right winger who already has 10 goals and 2 assists this season for them….very interesting

      (Quote)

  13. Ice…..aye but if nobody provides the assist then the goal doesn’t come…..the 2 things go hand in hand 😉

  19. I’m happy that Kadar has gone on loan. Hope it helps Clarky too.

This L’eqipe thing will be probably *****. We aint going to bring in Larsson and this character too.

  20. They be keeping their options open, i would like to know who of all the names mentioned is the number 1 target?
At least Larson has prem experience. 😕

  22. The way I see it is that Larsson is better than what we have to play out wide currently. He might not be a world beater, but he would improve our squad.

      (Quote)

  23. well if as he seems to be a better option than what we have I think it will be a good move for both the player and for us. I dont really see owt bad in the move 😉
