Game On! Newcastle v Manchester United

Howay the lads!
Welcome one and all to this evenings game against Manchester United hosted at St James’ Park.

It’s always a tough ask to beat Manchester United but, as ever, fans will be hopeful of causing an upset in front of a packed out St James’ Park.

The Sky TV cameras are in town tonight and will be broadcasting the match around the globe, which is great if you’re going to the pub or sitting at home watching on Sky, but not so great if you can’t do either. Luckily these days all you need is an internet connection, which you probably have if you’re reading this! Fortunately the chances of catching a stream this evening are pretty high.

For a preview of the match why not peruse my match preview which you can do by clicking here or if you’re more of a numbers guy or gal why not take a look at NUFC stats statistical preview of the match by clicking here.

There isn’t too much else for me to add really that hasn’t already been said. Now it’s over to the most important part – the match. Team news will appear below as and when it becomes available and hopefully we’ll be naming a winning team against the Red Devils. We’ll see!

  1. Gutti just a bit off this eve. Not too down on him cos we’re 2-0 up. Wouldn’t want to change things too much just yet…

  6. Good move Best on, we need to keep the Man U back line busy, and 2 men WILL keep them busy.

    Perch on for Cabaye 😯 😯 😯 eh 🙄 🙄

  7. I think Perch in the midfield is better than Perch in the back quite honestly. I thought he looked ok the couple times he came on earlier in the season for Cabaye.

  8. Why the surprise at Perch?…..2 nowt up, less than 15 min left, bring on a defensive midfielder, commonsense really……….the fact he’s not the best is a bit of a drawback, but hey ho 😉
