Newcastle United goalkeeper Matz Sels secured a much needed loan move to Belgian giants Anderlecht last month, but has already dropped an absolute clanger during his debut for the club.
Anderlecht were playing Red Bull Salzburg in their opening pre-season friendly of the summer today and just 50 seconds into his debut, the on-loan Newcastle United goalkeeper had yet another moment to forget.

Granted the back-pass was awful and is the biggest issue here, but Sels hasn’t covered himself in glory.
You have to feel for him. Goalkeepers rely on confidence and we were all hoping he’d regain some of that during his time with the Belgian Champions.
Rafa Benitez is looking to bring in a new no.1 at Newcastle, as well as having the capable Elliot, Krul, Darlow and Woodman already on our books, so a move to Sels’ native Belgium to play week in week out looked like a suitable move for all parties.
Here’s hoping things improve for him from now on in!
I’ve read a few excellent stuff here. Certainly price bookmarking
for revisiting. I surprise how so much effort you set to make such a
magnificent informative site.
