For the most part, yesterday’s game at Brighton was fairly contested, with few talking points until the 89th minute when match-winner Tomer Hemed was alleged to have stamped on Newcastle’s DeAndre Yedlin.
The referee did not take any action, but retrospective action could be taken. This Brighton fan doesn’t agree, but decide yourselves folks:

I must say that it doesn’t look good to me, made especially suspicious given the pair were caught scuffling moments before.
It’s hard to say, but if he’s not charged then there’s a glaring lack of consistency with the FA. If this was Jonjo Shelvey or Aleksandar Mitrovic you can’t help but feel a ban would be imminent?
The Israeli striker has since pleaded his innocence, with DeAndre Yedlin having the following to say on the incident:
“I felt something on my calf. I didn’t see anything.
Whether it was accidental or not, it doesn’t really matter now but I’m sure whoever is on the committee that punishes that sort of thing will figure it out.”
Let us know your thoughts. Does this warrant a ban or was it accidental in your eyes?
