NUFC have loan bid rejected by winger – & deal for Moussa Sissako now ‘OFF’ – Reports

Krafth may have signed and a sensational return for Andy Carroll is being discussed, but two players who won’t be signing for Newcastle today are Jordan Ibe and PSG youngster Moussa Sissako.

Starting with Ibe, the Daily Echo claim that the Bournemouth winger has rejected a loan offer from Newcastle as he ‘doesn’t want to move to the North East’ – despite his lack of game time on the south coast.

Then to Sissako – the 19-year-old centre-back who was said to be deciding between a move to Newcastle or Brighton.

RMC now report that PSG’s teenager won’t be joining either side today. They claim that deals were agreed ‘in principle’ with both clubs, however a deal is now said to be ‘off’ after neither side were able to conclude an agreement following 4-year contract proposals:

Back to Ibe, I can’t say it’s a deal I’d lose sleep over. After all, he’s done very little at Bournemouth since making a £16m move from Liverpool, and he’s not exactly the sort of player we want this season if he’s not willing to make the move up north for game time.

That said, I’m not even sure he would’ve got a great deal of minutes should we have got him!
