Newcastle are interested in signing Le Havre goal machine Tino Kadewere, according to Football Insider.
The 24-year-old striker has bagged 18 goals and 4 assists in just 20 appearances in Ligue 2 this season and is believed to be available if a £15m bid arrives.

Lyon have already had a £12m bid turned down this month, but Football Insider claim that Le Havre would be willing to cash in if a £15m offer arrived.
Le Havre do have a rich history of producing top players, with the likes of Paul Pogba and Dmitri Payet emerging from their youth ranks, but it would be yet another risk to sign an unproven young striker and expect him to do the business in a Newcastle side that’s not easy to plan in if you’re a goal scorer relying on chances.
This could be another transfer rumours that’s wide of the mark but, if he is a target, I’d be surprised if we’d be willing to match their £15m asking price.
After all, we haggled over a £16m deal for Allan Saint-Maximin – a player who signed from the French top flight – so I don’t see us paying a similar fee for a Ligue 2 talent.
Nevertheless, here’s him in action:
