Another boost has arrived in our bid for answers from the Premier League – this time via influential Geordie duo Ant and Dec!
The ITV presenters have today shared the petition (sign it here) pushing for an independent investigation into the Premier League’s takeover process after the Saudi-backed consortium were forced to withdraw their bid last Thursday following a four-month wait for answers.
The petition has just crept over the 92,000 mark at the time of writing, edging closer to that 100k target after they shared the link to their 6.7million followers on Twitter:
A welcome boost to our bid for transparency and answers from the Premier League alongside the NUFC Trust and several other supporter groups.
This also comes on a day where Boris Johnson has backed calls pushing the Premier League to make a statement on the matter, with at least 26 MP’s from up and down the country also joining forces after over 5,000 letters were sent out this week asking for their assistance.
