Allan Saint-Maximin has once again torn Sunderland to shreds on social media while poking fun at their League One status.
Following news that our trip to the Academy of Light had been postponed on Tuesday, a Mackem attempted to rile Toon fans on Twitter by claiming our U23 side would have lost regardless.
This drew a response from Saint-Maximin, who mocked Sunderland for not having played in the top flight for almost four years via this brilliant clip below:
It’s safe to say the poor lad got done like a kipper by the Frenchman!
The exciting winger is not only a bright spark on the pitch, bagging two assists in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Southampton, he’s someone who regularly brings a smile to our face or a few laughs off it!
It’s a shame we can’t get to see him make our North East rivals with a ball at his feet, but he doesn’t half make up for it on social media!
