£17m release clause revealed as NUFC travel to watch summer target tomorrow night – Report

According to SportBILD, Newcastle United officials will be in Germany tomorrow night to watch Evan N’Dicka in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League clash with West Ham.

The 6ft 4′ centre-back missed the first leg at the London Stadium through suspension, however he will be back for the second leg of the semi final on Thursday and bidding to impress Toon scouts, it seems.

BILD also report that the 22-year-old could be available at a bargain fee this summer, claiming that a €20m (£17m) release clause exists in his current deal; which is due to expire next summer, as things stand.

N’Dicka has been one of the top performing central defenders in the Bundesliga season and could be watched by a host of talent spotters tomorrow night, with Marseille and Monaco officials expected to be in attendance.

With a host of left-sided centre-backs being linked since the turn of the year, he feels like one to watch and a name that’s been cropping up more and more over the past few weeks.

Given his age, height, ability on the ball for a player of his size and reported release clause, he could tick a lot of boxes.
