Newcastle United have officially released the new home kit for the 2022/23 season, designed by kit suppliers Castore.
The photos emerging from the club’s official website also confirm that FUN88 will remain the kit sponsor for the coming year.
Our new owners may be looking to significantly increase commercial revenues, and there had been speculation over a change of sponsor, but the club signed a ‘new long-term commercial agreement’ FUN88 two years ago, so it seems their hands may have been tied in that respect.
As for the kit itself, it sees thinner black and white stripes return and a round-neck collar, with some on social media believing it’s the nicest home kit we’ve had for a few years.

The elite ‘Pro’ edition of the shirt, which will be worn by the first team on the pitch, features Castore’s finest innovation technology with laser-cut ventilation at the underarms to keep players cool and focused during play.
