The teams are out ahead of today’s 3pm kick off at St James’ Park, which sees us take on Brentford as we look to make it back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Without further ado, here’s the side Eddie Howe has gone with, picking the same 11 that beat Fulham 4-1 last weeken:
STARTING XI: Pope – Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn – Longstaff, Guimaraes, Willock – Almiron, Wilson, Murphy.
SUBS: Karius, Lascelles, Joelinton, Saint-Maximin, Lewis, Targett, Wood, Fraser, Anderson.
So, an unchanged line up, with Jacob Murphy and Sean Longstaff keeping their place, along with Dan Burn at left-back once again.
Allan Saint-Maximin is back on the bench, with Joelinton and Elliot Anderson also in the squad if Howe needs to make changes.
Elsewhere, Alexander Isak and Jonjo Shelvey miss out again – although both are edging closer to a return – while Emil Krafth and Karl Darlow remain long-term absentees.
For the hosts, former Newcastle United striker Ivan Toney starts up top, but captain Pontus Jansson missed out in defence.
