More good news for Newcastle United fans as two games are selected for TV broadcast

Newcastle United have today confirmed that two games over the festive period have now been selected for live TV broadcast.

Our trip to Leicester City on Boxing Day – the first game back following the World Cup break – remains a 3pm kick off on Monday 26th December, but will now be shown live on Amazon Prime.

Newcastle’s clash with Leeds on New Years Eve remains the same, taking place at 3pm on Saturday 31st December, however our trip to Arsenal has moved from Monday 2nd January at 3pm to Tuesday 3rd January at 8pm, with the game now set to be shown live on Sky Sports.

This is good news for fans hoping to watch both of our away games on TV over the festive period and means that FOUR of our next seven fixtures will be available to watch.

Here’s our schedule in full between now and January 3rd, keeping in mind the World Cup break that will follow our home clash with Chelsea on November 12th:

  • Newcastle vs Aston Villa – Saturday 29th October at 3pm
  • Southampton vs Newcastle – Sunday 6th November at 2pm (Sky Sports)
  • Newcastle vs Crystal Palace – Wednesday 9th November at 7.45pm (Carabao Cup)
  • Newcastle vs Chelsea – Saturday 12th November at 5.30pm (Sky Sports)
  • Leicester vs Newcastle – Monday 26th December at 3pm (Amazon Prime)
  • Newcastle vs Leeds – Saturday 31st December at 3pm
  • Arsenal vs Newcastle – Tuesday 3rd January at 8pm (Sky Sports)
