NUFC release footage of Callum Wilson scoring twice in England training game – Video

Newcastle United have shared some brilliant footage from the England camp, showing Toon striker Callum Wilson scoring a couple of goals – and winning a penalty – in a Three Lions training game.

The 30-year-old is expected to start on the bench ahead of today’s Group B opener against Iran, with Harry Kane set to lead the line at the World Cup.

However, it seems Wilson has been looking sharp in training out in Qatar, as official footage shows him doing what he does best while up against his England teammates.

The first clip shows him firing past Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale after latching onto a Kalvin Phillips through ball, then going down under a clumsy challenge from Mason Mount from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s pass.

The final clip from the video then features some lovely footwork from our number nine, who leaves Jordan Henderson for dead before slotting past Toon teammate Nick Pope. Watch the video in full below:
