Ahead of tonight’s World Cup clash between England and Wales, Sky Sports have released some early team news from Qatar.
According to their information, Phil Foden, Marcus Rashford, Jordan Henderson and Kyle Walker will all start in the Group B clash set to kick off at BBC1 at 7pm.
It is yet to be confirmed, but it’s thought Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier could make way – allowing Walker to come in at right-back – with Bukayo Saka, Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling also set to drop out, according to The Telegraph.
With that in mind, it looks like the following side will start against the Welsh:
(4-3-3): Pickford – Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw – Henderson, Rice, Bellingham – Rashford, Kane, Foden.
Win and England will secure top spot, but a draw or defeat leaves us open to being overtaken by Iran; who could move to six points should they beat the USA later on tonight.
