Almost four weeks on from our last fixture, Newcastle United face Al-Hilal in a mid-season friendly in Saudi Arabia today – and you can watch it free of charge.
The 5pm kick-off can be watched here on NUFC TV, although the match is only available to stream from the UK only.
In a pre-match message to fans on social media, Newcastle United stated, ‘supporters will need to be logged in to their NUFC TV account to watch the match and are strongly advised to log in as early as possible.’
Here’s the team news ahead of the game, seeing Eddie Howe field a strong side that features Sven Botman, Jonjo Shelvey, Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin and rare starts for Loris Karius and Jamal Lewis.
NUFC XI: Karius – Manquillo, Lascelles, Botman, Lewis – Shelvey, Willock, Joelinton – Murphy, Wood, Saint-Maximin.
Subs: Gillespie, Fraser, Almiron, Anderson, Burn, Longstaff, White, Stephenson, Turner-Cooke, A.Murphy, Miley.
Hopefully we can enjoy a good run out against the Saudi Pro League Champions and come through the game with no injuries. HWTL!
It’s unwatchable. 😡😡😡. Stream stops every 30 seconds or so, then starts then stops… then starts then stops. Impossible to watch.
