Sky Sports have released the footage of Newcastle’s celebrations, Eddie Howe’s speech and Dan Burn’s post-match moves after our 2-0 victory over Leicester sent us through to the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
Just days after a disappointing defeat in the FA Cup, we got back on track with victory over the Foxes thanks to goals from Joelinton and Burn; who scored his first ever goal for his boyhood club.
The scenes after the match highlighted just how together this squad is, with Howe asking his players to reflect on this moment – a place in the semi-finals of the cup – before Dan Burn stepped in to show off his dancing skills!
This will be Newcastle’s first League Cup semi-final since 1976 and only our second in history – if that’s not worthy of a few dance moves and one big team photo, I’m not sure what is!
