The teams are in ahead of our final game of the 2022/23 season, where Eddie’s Mags take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Here’s the XI and subs Howe has gone with in the capital:
(4-3-3): Dubravka – Trippier, Schar, Botman, Targett – Gordon, Bruno, Anderson – Almiron, Isak, Saint-Maximin.
SUBS: Karius, Gillespie, Dummett, Wilson, Lewis, Murphy, Ashby, Burn, Miley.
Alexander Isak starts up top, seeing Callum Wilson drop to the bench. Anthony Gordon and Allan Saint-Maximin also come in alongside Matt Targett; who replaces Burn at left-back.
Martin Dubravka replaces Nick Pope – who has just has surgery on his hand – and Elliot Anderson keeps his place alongside Bruno.
So, four changes from Howe and several enforced, with Joelinton and Joe Willock missing out once again after recent knocks.
Chelsea XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Chalobah, Hall, Gallagher, Fernandez, Loftus-Cheek, Madueke, Havertz, Sterling.
What a season we’ve had. For one last time in 2022/23, HWTL!
