Watford have been linked with a move for Jamal Lewis, while Karl Darlow is thought to be available for £5m following interest from Leeds, Bournemouth, Hull and Middlesbrough.
According to The Mail, the Hornets are hoping to sign Jamal Lewis on a season-long loan deal. The left-back started in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Gateshead, but played just nine minutes of Premier League football over the 2022/23 season.
He’s been training with the first-team over the past week, however, it’s thought the Northern Ireland international is free to leave alongside the likes of Ryan Fraser, Jeff Hendrick and Isaac Hayden.
A spell in the Championship could help rebuild his confidence, as he’s often looked a shadow of the player who was bombing down the line for Norwich a few seasons ago, convincing us to pay £15m for the left-back following interest from Liverpool.
Valérien Ismaël has replaced Chris Wilder at Vicarage Road and is thought to be keen on a temporary deal, meanwhile Newcastle are continuing to pursue Southampton’s Tino Livramento after seeing a £21m offer rejected.
As for Darlow, Hull Live report that the Tigers have walked away from a deal after our £5m asking price was beyond their budget. Manager Liam Rosenior has ruled out a move, leaving Leeds and Bournemouth the favourites to sign the stopper.
