Some ‘breaking news’ has emerged from Sky Sports in the last few moments, revealing the staggering offer Al-Ahli have made to Fulham’s Marco Silva.
As we know, Toon winger Allan Saint-Maximin is set to finalise a move to the Saudi Pro League side in the coming days and it’s believed the PIF-owned club are willing to pay Silva a whopping £40m over a two-year deal.
Sky Sports report that the agents of the Portuguese boss are currently in London for talks with Saudi officials, who are bidding to recruit the 46-year-old alongside fellow signings Edouard Mendy, Roberto Firmino and Riyad Mahrez; who looks set to leave Man City for KSA alongside ASM.
Silva has a £6m release clause in his contract at Craven Cottage and has just one-year left on his deal. He’s previously rejected approaches from the Saudi Pro League and other Premier League clubs, but a tax-free deal worth £20m per-season may be too much to turn down.
