Turkish outlet Aksam are reporting that Newcastle are one of several clubs considering a £14m move for Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey.
Boey has been very impressive for the Turkish side since signing from Rennes two years ago and played a huge role in securing the Super Lig title last season.
The 22-year-old’s performances have earned him a lot of attention and the likes of Arsenal, Juventus and Tottenham as well as Newcastle are now monitoring his situation.
Although we are very interested in signing Tino Livramento from Southampton, Boey is another right-back who could be the perfect back-up to Kieran Trippier, and for a lot less money.
It is believed that the former French youth international is currently valued at £14m by his club, so we will have to make a strong case to persuade him to come to Tyneside over our Premier League rivals.
Why the need for another right back that will be trippier,manquillo,krath,and Ashby if anything it’s left back we need there is only burn and targett as dummet finished so unless Ritchie shows up there again it is our only weak position
