The report claims that both Premier League sides are ‘ready’ to make a €50m move for the Juventus star, but it is not clear whether this is enough to persuade the Serie A giants to sell.
At his peak, Chiesa is an unbelievable talent who has the ability to be one of the best in the world, only for injuries to hold him back in recent years.
While it would certainly be a gamble to offer that amount of money for someone who started just six times last season, it could be an incredible addition to the right-hand side of our attack IF we really are interested.
It remains to be seen whether we hold serious interest in the Italian international or if this is yet another example of our name being used by agents or clubs to drive up the price.
