Newcastle United have released an in-depth interview with Tino Livramento after his official move was announced this morning (Watch it in full at the bottom of this article).
The 20-year-old reveals that he jumped at the chance to join after hearing about our interest and is excited to be part of this exciting new project at St James’ Park.
He adds that he feels “really good” both physically and mentally after making a full recovery from an ACL injury, which limited him to just two Premier League appearances over the 2023/24 season.
The right-back describes himself as quick, attacking, a good crosses and capable in 1v1 defensive situations, also revealing that the opportunity to learn from Kieran Trippier was one of the big reasons he was keen to sign.
Livramento discusses his ambition to represent England at senior level and aspirations to break into Eddie Howe’s starting XI, show the fans what he’s capable of and help the club build on a top four finish, naming trophies and regular Champions League appearances as something he wants to achieve.
