South American trio board private jet to Newcastle after World Cup qualifiers – Photo

Bruno Guimaraes, Miguel Almiron and Joelinton have all been pictured together on a private jet as they made their way back from international duty this morning.

All three featured for their respective nations last night as Brazil recorded their second victory in World Cup qualifying against Peru while Paraguay fell to 1-0 loss to Venezuela.

Bruno started in midfield for Fernando Diniz’s side and put in a solid performance before being substituted for Newcastle teammate Joelinton with five minutes to go.

Almiron started on the right for Paraguay despite some injury concerns in his previous game, but suffered defeat as former Magpie Salomon Rondon scored a last-minute penalty.

It’ll be good to get all three back fit, healthy and ready to go for what is a crucial few weeks, with Brentford, AC Milan and Sheffield United to come.
