Yankuba Minteh on fire! – Watch NUFC loanee bag brilliant goal and assist in 6-1 Feyenoord win

It’s been an incredible few weeks for Newcastle United loanee Yankuba Minteh.

The 19-year-old scores his first Eredivise goal in a 5-1 win at FC Utrecht earlier this month with an ice-cool finish, then helped Gambia qualify for the African Cup of Nations with his first goal for his country on his senior debut.

If that wasn’t enough, he delivered a brilliant 30-minute cameo in Feyenoord’s 6-1 victory over Heerenveen on Saturday afternoon.

Not only did he score five minutes after coming on (see his smart finish below), he then set up another after his through ball was smashed home by Ondřej Lingr. This makes it three goals and an assist in his last 111 minutes for club and country. Watch Minteh’s goal and assist below:

It’s early days for Minteh, but we’re starting to see why Newcastle paid £6m to bring the teenage sensation from Odense a few months ago.

Hopefully he can take this form into the Champions League, where they’ve been grouped alongside Atletico Madrid, Celtic an Lazio.
