Newcastle have released behind-the-scenes footage of our trip to Milan and return to the Champions League for the first time in two decades.
In the video, the club spoke to former Mag Shay Given and head of goalkeeping Adam Bartlett – born in Newcastle – to understand what it means to be back amongst Europe’s elite.
We also get the opinions of supporters who travelled over to Italy for the game and hear how they’ve enjoyed the past 18 months during our incredible rise up the Premier League table.
It looked like a great atmosphere was building in the city leading up to the game, with so many Mags enjoying every second before, during and after our 0-0 draw with AC Milan. Watch the full video below:
Though it may not have been the most exciting performance in the end, nobody could fault the effort that the players, who return to Tyneside with a precious point.
