German outlet BILD are reporting that Newcastle are ‘pursuing’ Borussia Dortmund sensation Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, despite him only recently signing a new deal.
The forward is also being tracked by Arsenal and Chelsea and is believed to be one of the most exciting youngsters in Europe, which is exactly why Dortmund wanted to tie him down until 2028.
Having impressed during his time at Chelsea and Reading, the now 19-year-old earned himself a move to Man City before making the switch to Germany in 2022.
The England youth international has so far represented the Bundesliga side 29 times, scoring three and assisting one, and may be the next big-money move to England.
This may have Dan Ashworth written all over it, with our sporting director seeming intent on bringing some of the world’s most exciting teenagers to Tyneside alongside the likes of Yankuba Minteh and Garang Kuol. However, with a new deal signed and Arsenal also keen, it won’t be an easy one to pull off.
Would this be another signing for the future, cos 3 goals and 1 assist over 29 games doesnt sound inspiring for a forward player ?
