Garang Kuol played a key role in a massive 1-0 win for new club FC Volendam over the weekend.
The Eredivisie side have endured a tough start to the season, losing five and drawing one of their opening six games ahead of last Friday’s meeting with relegation rivals FC Utrecht.
Kuol has started their last five games and kept his place on the left wing, having scored a stunner in their 3-1 defeat to Fortuna Sittard last month.
Utrecht had a man sent off and Kuol played a key role in breaking the deadlock, latching onto a ball in behind, bringing it down brilliantly with his right and delivering a perfect low cross to put it on a plate for Robert Muhren.
You can watch the goal 3:50 into the highlight footage below, which helped Volendam move off the bottom of the table and two points from safety.

Ashworth earning his money already. Minteh will be in our first team squad next season but another loan for Kuol next as he seems behind Minteh in progress. Exciting times ahead.
