Mitro’s on Fire Duty

As reported on Nufc.com, Serbian maverick Aleksandar Mitrovic is one of two figureheads for Newcastle’s fire safety campaign, the other being Chancel Mbemba.
While it would be great to think Mitrovic could draw comparisons with Mario Balotelli on and off the pitch, the club will be hoping that he does not replicate the Italian’s actions where fireworks are concerned.
Balotelli famously set off fireworks in his own home, something that seems farfetched, even for Mitrovic, who has been immortalised with his own version of 90’s anthem ‘Free from desire’ with the lyrics being ‘Mitro’s on fire’ and the club will be hoping that ‘Mitro’, as he is affectionately referred to by the fans, will make sure that he saves his being ‘on fire’ for the football pitch.
Mitrovic goes in to today’s game against Cardiff with four goals in two games and will feel confident of adding to his tally, if he is selected.
