Why NUFC Must Return To The Top Flight

As reported by the Chronicle, according to Bloomberg, the Premier League has struck a three-year deal with Chinese company PPTV for £525million, highlighting the need for the Magpies to return to the top flight at the first time of asking.
The deal is 12 times more than the last deal in China was worth. It will begin in 2019 and last for three years, giving the Premier League the chance to further increase its stock in one of the leading world superpowers.
The deal highlights the need for Newcastle to return to the top division quickly, after the club invested heavily in staff and play recruitment during the summer, most notably to retain the services of manager Rafa Benitez.
The longer that Newcastle are not in the Premier League, the harder that it will become for the club to sustain such heavy expenditure. Making it essential that they return quickly to avoid financial difficulty in the future.
