In just a couple of day we play our first pre-season game of the new campaign. It’s only pre-season, but the fact that we’re looking forward to them is symptomatic of just how much we have been starved of football over these last few weeks.

Once that games kicks off on Friday the countdown to the new season can really begin. It will signal the end of a lot of speculation, a lot of unrest, a lot of nervousness and will give us something to focus on. After all, despite all of the differing opinions on all of the different aspects of our club, it’s the football that we all love so much. That means more of this, hopefully!

I hope you enjoyed. I can’t wait now!

  6. I’m glad pardew has made it clear today that we will be bringing in a striker. If Best and ranger leave, that will gives us Ba, ______, Shola, and Loven. Not bad considering Shola and McLoven were first choice last year.

  23. Anyone notice the first video that most players being shown are either gone or going to be gone soon.

    I kinda having a weird feeling,we will soon not see the likes of shola,lovekrands,Alan Smith,etc anymore. 😕

  25. Witters no I cant get the mobile version on my mobile and the main one takes yonks to download, it doesn’t give me the option to switch between mob and normal one anymore. so it means I rarely go on from my phone now

  26. @25 I’m at home so using wireless connection on my mobile but it’s pretty poor performance if I’m using 3G. Odd that you can’t change your view tho…

  51. Spencer- Ranger and Rout aren’t going because the club is trying to sell/loan them out. Perch/Xisco likely aren’t in pardew’s plans this season(thankfully).
