As reported by the Chronicle, Karl Darlow has commented on his memorable save at the weekend.
Darlow called it “One of my best saves” but admits that he should never have had to make it.
Speaking about the save, which was made during the win over Rotherham at the weekend, Darlow said: “I caused my own problem, and put myself in a position where I had to make one of my best saves, but luckily I got away with that,” said Darlow. “Thankfully, we kept a clean sheet.
“People have said it was a good save, but it should never have happened in the first place, should it?
“Never mind, though. I got myself out of it, and thankfully we got a clean sheet. We carry on from there now.”
Darlow also gave credit to his teammates for the weekends win, adding: “We know that we’re strong throughout the team,”
“If we can start from that and be solid at the back, then we know we’ve got lot of strengths at the other end.
