The club have revealed their home kit for the 2017/18 season in the last few moments, announcing that Chinese betting company ‘FUN88’ will be Newcastle’s official sponsors on a three-year deal.
A picture leaked on social media this morning saw several United fans speculating over what appeared to be our new kit, however reports this afternoon have confirmed it to be genuine.
Newcastle’s 2017-18 PUMA home kit will go on sale at the club store and nufcdirect.com from Thursday 15th June, with the away and third kits set to be revealed on club channels this summer.
See below for the kit unveiling video released by the club website, featuring some of the Newcastle United greats.

Lee Charnley said the following on today’s kit and sponsorship unveiling:
“It was important for us to find the right partner and in FUN88, we have a shirt sponsor that understands the club and brings significant benefits commercially.”
“The relationship will enable the club and FUN88 to enhance our respective global profiles together as we celebrate a landmark season and embark on the exciting Premier League campaign ahead.”
Personally, I find the ‘FUN88’ sponsor a little bright and tacky, but I have no complaints about the kit itself, with the 125th year anniversary crest also a brilliant touch.
The return of the classic red numbers on the back of the shirt will also be a welcome return for many fans.
Looks cheap and nasty, but will end up buying one no doubt!
