NUFC midfielder suddenly nowhere to be seen – Is there something we don’t know about?

Newcastle United released pictures and videos of the squad in training on both Wednesday and Thursday this week, and there’s one common theme in both of them – Ki Sung Yeung is nowhere to be seen in any of them.

Considering there’s been no word of him carrying injury and the fact he’s failed to play a single minute for the club in over a month now, this all seems rather odd.

He’s noT featured since last month’s 2-1 defeat at Manchester City, failing to even make Rafa Benitez’s squad in two of our last three.

Both Isaac Hayden and Sean Longstaff have got the nod ahead of him in Rafa’s most recent matchday squad at home to Leicester, so his absence is a mystery – especially when there’s been no news whatsoever of any injury.

He’s been called up to the South Korea squad ahead of next week’s international break, but his whereabouts on and off the pitch is unknown as far as we can see.

One to keep an eye on..
