One striker Newcastle look set to miss out on this month is AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek.
The Polish striker was heavily linked with a possible move earlier this month, but Sky Italy now report that Hertha Berlin have agreed a €27m (£23m) deal for the Serie A hitman.
He’s now on his way to Germany for a medical, leaving Steve Bruce with one less option in his attempt to bring in another striker before tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.
There’s also been a response to claims we’ve made a “£20m bid” (including add ons) for Hull City star Jarrod Bowen.
This came from Football Insider, however both the Chronicle and the Shields Gazette have denied such claims – stating there’s been NO bid from Newcastle United just yet.
With Rose set to sign on loan and Bentaleb and Lazaro already in, do you see us signing another attacker between now and 11pm tomorrow night?
