The club’s official Twitter channel have released some footage of the lads back in action to keep us entertained following their return to training a fortnight ago.
As of last week, clubs in the top flight are now able to have full contact training sessions meaning they can have 11 v 11 games to prepare for the return of Premier League football this month.
In one of three clips shared so far, on loan Valentino Lazaro showed his quality with an acrobatic strike from an Isaac Hayden cross today:
Then we have footage of Fabian Schar showing that the Swiss international isn’t easing himself back into contact training lightly with a crunching tackle on Isaac Hayden!
Another clip shows tricky winger Allan Saint-Maximin go on a mazy run down the wing, although we think Sean Longstaff may feel slightly aggrieved that the Frenchman didn’t play him in here:
