Richard Keys has gone quiet on all things Newcastle United since a potential Saudi takeover collapsed – yet it’s not stopped him from making utterly bizarre comments on Bein Sports.
Speaking about Man City’s defensive issues, he’s genuinely suggested Pep Guardiola should bring former NUFC boss Sam Allardyce in on a “temporary basis” to help sort out his woes at the back.
You have to see it to believe it, so here it is:
Good to see it’s not only Newcastle United he targets in his ongoing obsession with spouting rubbish.
Even Andy Gray could do little else but laugh awkwardly after his ridiculous suggestion live on air!
Despite Richard Keys being one of the biggest advocates for “jobs for the boys”, I think it’s fair to say Pep Guardiola won’t be taking him up on his suggestion to appoint Big Sam anytime soon!
