Steve Bruce has gone with an unchanged side ahead of today’s early kick off at Anfield – a decision that sees him leave both Callum Wilson and Joe Willock on the bench.
Here’s our starting 11 and subs bench in full:
(5-3-2): Dubravka – Murphy, Fernandez, Clark, Dummett, Ritchie – Shelvey, S Longstaff, Almiron – Saint-Maximin, Joelinton.
SUBS: Gillespie, Lewis, Krafth, Manquillo, Hendrick, Willock, Carroll, Gayle, Wilson.
Although this is the side that started in last weekend’s 3-2 win over West Ham, it’s a slight surprise to see Wilson and Willock remain on the bench – with the former fit again and the latter scoring yet another crucial goal in his latest cameo.
Elsewhere, there’s no Matty Longstaff or Elliot Anderson in the matchday squad, while the likes of Lascelles, Schar, Darlow, Hayden and Fraser miss out with injuries.
Here’s the Liverpool side Jurgen Klopp has gone with, seeing him start all FOUR of his star attackers:
(4-2-3-1): Alisson – Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Kabak, Robertson – Wijnaldum, Thiago – Mane, Firmino, Jota – Salah.
SUBS: Adrián, Milner, Keïta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, R. Williams, N. Williams.
No wins at Anfield in 27 years – let’s hope that changes today.
Howay the lads!

Bruce HAS TO GO ASAP – he’s simply not a MANAGER
Sad thing is he’s won 2 out of 26 down to ONE player and is wrecking the careers of players
Why on earth would Joe Willock sign when he’s saving Bruce’s job and being kept on the bench (!!!???)
We just need new ownership to get rid of the MD Charmless, NUFC Board and the P!ss Soaked Bruce
