Two Premier League clubs eyeing Allan Saint-Maximin as NUFC star pushes for pay rise – Report

According to new reports, Allan Saint-Maximin is pushing for a pay rise at Newcastle United and attracting interest from Wolves and Everton.

Graeme Bailey – a former Sky Sports correspondent now at 90min – claims that Eddie Howe is ‘concerned’ by the Frenchman’s hefty wage demands, also reporting that his representatives are scouring the market ahead of a potential move away this summer.

The Mail released a piece over the weekend stating our new owners could cash in on the winger if a £50m bid arrived and 90min are now saying similar, with Bailey believing that we are indeed ‘open’ to a sale.

He reports that Wolves are keen on bringing the 25-year-old to Molineux as a replacement for Adama Traore – who joined Barcelona in January – while Everton are expected to up their interest if Frank Lampard manages to avoid relegation.

Who knows if this is another outlet jumping on The Mail’s surprise story over the weekend, however there’s sometimes no smoke without fire…
