Anderson’s moment of magic & Bruno’s crazy run – Brilliant clips emerge from win over Burnley

Newcastle United released highlights of all nine goals from Saturday’s training games against Burnley, but two impressive clips have since emerged.

They feature rising star Elliot Anderson and Brazilian maestro Bruno Guimaraes, who both delivered moments of brilliance that many will have missed following our latest win over the weekend.

One shows Anderson – who got on the scoresheet in his game – pulling off a stunning piece of tight dribbling before winning a penalty, handing Howe another reminder of his undoubted talent.

The other features Bruno going close to what would’ve been one of the goals of the summer, picking up the ball from Sven Botman on the halfway line, gliding past four Burnley players and seeing his shot blocked by the keeper after bursting into the box.

Watch both videos below, starting with Anderson’s dancing feet that won a penalty we went on to miss!

Bruno looks the real deal, with this footage proving once again that he’d be wasted as a ‘defensive’ midfielder sitting in front of our back four, and it looks like we have another gem on our hands in Elliot Anderson.

Continue to show flashes of brilliance like this and he may spend next season with the first-team – not on loan in the Championship as many expected!
