Agent spotted in England as Arsenal join race to sign Newcastle United target – Report

The agent of Newcastle target Ivan Fresneda has been spotted in London amid rumours that Arsenal have joined the race for the highly rated Real Valladolid defender.

We have been monitoring the 18-year-old’s situation for a matter of weeks now alongside a host of other European clubs, but The Chronicle report that the North London club are also showing interest in the Spaniard.

The right-back’s agent, Luis Bardaji, posted a photo on social media highlighting the fact he was in London, sparking rumours he was there to meet with clubs in England.

Fresneda has shown a lot of potential in his eight La Liga appearances this season, prompting a number of clubs to monitor him – one of which has been Newcastle after chief scout Steve Nickson was spotted watching his side take on Real Madrid last month.

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are also known to be keen on signing the promising full-back, so it will certainly be a tough ask to win the race for his signature.

  1. Got to laugh. Just another agent doing his stuff to attract clubs to his player. We are tied to every player going by journalists/agents/pundits/ex players and every Tom **** and Harry ha
I’ll believe it when the player is holding up the shirt. Hwtl

  2. When an agent posts pictures of himself “being” somewhere, it means only one thing. They are pushing for a pay rise for their client.
A 350 quid airline ticket is well worth the expense if you can get a 10,000 Euro a week increase for a player.
