Everton eyeing another deal with Newcastle after Anthony Gordon exit – Report

According to 90min, Everton are showing interest in Newcastle United winger Ryan Fraser – although any deal would be entirely separate to the one seeing Anthony Gordon sign at St James’ Park.

Sean Dyche, who is expected to be announced as manager very soon, is said to have the Scottish winger on his ‘wish list’, with the former Burnley boss keen to strengthen his wide areas following Gordon’s departure.

The 28-year-old has rarely featured for Eddie Howe this season and has been allowed to leave this month in search of more first-team football.

Fraser has never really found the impressive form that he showed under Howe while at Bournemouth, but a move to Goodison Park could help him get his career back on track.

While the two clubs could essentially swap players, there is ‘no suggestion’ that Fraser will be involved in the deal for Gordon, it would be an entirely separate move.

With £15m coming our way for Chris Wood this summer and Fraser valued at around the £10m mark, it would be smart business from Newcastle to move out two squad men for a hefty chunk of the fee paid for Gordon.
