Some brilliant footage has emerged of Amanda Staveley following Tuesday’s magical night on Tyneside.
As fans, players, coaches and owners celebrated inside St James’ Park, a behind the scenes clip shows the emotional 49-year-old hugging a member of staff, whispering – “We’re going to Wembley!”.
The brilliant match cam footage (which you can watch in full here) also shows Chris Wood back at the stadium to support his former teammates, with co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi filmed speaking to the Kiwi and asking how he is following a January move to Nottingham Forest.
Along with pitch-side clips of the goals and wild celebrations, the video also shows Amanda Staveley introducing Eddie Howe to special guest Idris Elba; where she asks to boss if it’s OK if the popular DJ and TV star could come into the dressing room to congratulate the player.
